New Irish Missing Children’s Website

Today the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, Mr Michael McDowell T.D., launches the new Irish Missing Children’s website which will be used by An Garda Síochána (Irish Police) to launch urgent appeals as well as facilitating reports of sightings. Only An Garda Síochána Missing Persons Bureau can authorise a missing child being placed on the site.

The addition of a dedicated missing children’s website for Ireland is to be welcomed. We wish all who are involved every success and our thanks for undertaking this initiative.
