National Missing Persons Day
Date: 12/3/2014
Today Wednesday 3 December is National Missing Persons Day. It is an opportunity to remember the families of the missing and those who are missing. In Farmleigh House Dublin today this day will be marked by the State, by families of the missing and by all those who are involved in both searching for, investigating, and highlighting the cases of those who are missing.
Throughout Ireland, the day will also be marked by various organisations at local level. In Cork City, the National Missing Persons Helpline, the Gardai, the Cork City Missing Persons Search and Recovery (CCMPSAR) and the Coast Guard have come together to highlight the National Missing Persons Helpline.
