Priscilla Clarke, grew up in Co. Louth, a devoted daughter to her parents and a loving sister to her siblings . In 1983 following qualifying as a nursery nurse she was employed as a live-in nurse with Mark and Lynda Kavanagh, providing loving and devoted care to the young family. In late 1987 Priscilla with the Kavanaghs moved to Ballyorney House, in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow.
On Tuesday 3rd May, 1988, two persons were sighted on horses going onto Charleville Estate, one was recognised as Lynda Kavanagh, the other person was not identified. Two days later Lynda Kavanagh’s body was recovered from the River Dargle. Priscilla’s body was never recovered and her family were never able to bring closure and finality to the disappearance of Priscilla. She was aged 25 at that time and was approx 5’ 7” tall, and about 9 st.
We ask people to cast their minds back and remember this bright energetic, red haired, smiling young woman and particularly asking people in the Enniskerry area to come forward with any information or details that might have aroused their suspicion around Powerscourt Estate on the day of the 3rd May, 1988.
