I am trying to find Alice Maguire who is my mother. She had me in 1947 in the General Hospital Omagh. This hospital does not now exist. The last Known address I have was 36 Castle Street Omagh. Again the property is no more. I was taken as a baby from her by James Devlin of Omagh (Now Deceased.) At the time Alice was a domestic servant. I believe she had a Brother somewhere in Fermanagh. I understand I was taken from the address of Mrs Knight in Castle St Omagh. But it could have been a lodging house or my mother could have been working there. In 1961/2 A lady and a man came to our house in Dromore road Omagh to take me away but I was only 14or15 years old, I don't know what happened or where they went to. I have established that the people that came were maybe an Aunt/uncle or granma and Alice's brother. I am sorry to be so vague but I don't have any better info at this time. I would like you to post this on your site, someone somewhere might know something.
