Garda Annual Report 2005

The Garda Annual Report for 2005 was published on the 9th May 2006. The section on missing persons is on page 79 of the Report and is available for download atwww.garda.ie .

For the year 2005, there were 5,997 people reported missing to An Garda Siochana. That figure is broken down into Category A: 3,277, Category B: 1559 and Category C: 1,161. By year’s end 75 people remained untraced. 61% of all missing persons’ reports involved people under 18 years of age.
