Gussie Shanahan 17 Years Missing
On this day, 11th February, in the year 2000, Gussie Shanahan (my first cousin) disappeared from the streets of Limerick. There has been so much speculation and so little hard evidence to reveal what happened to him. But those who keep the silence are equally guilty for whatever happened.

National Missing Persons day this year takes place on Wednesday 7th December 2016. It is an opportunity to highlight the appeals for those who are missing and to remember their relatives and friends. The State will mark this event with an annual gathering at Farmleigh House.
